The Game : Mobile Legends Bang Bang

Mobile Legends:Β Bang Bang is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) mobile game developed by Shanghai Moontoon. It has been a year since I started playing the game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. At first, I wasn’t that interested in the game as I’m pretty much preoccupied with a lot of stuff. My curiosity began when I noticed my brothers and sisters gathered when they collaborated to play this game. They always gather to join this game party – which consists of 5 players.

This game can be played on your smart mobile phones with a minimum recommended requirement of 2GB memory (RAM) and storage of at least 350MB. Otherwise, you won’t get the best experience and performance for this game.

People tend to get attracted to the game because it’s accessible on the mobile phone as long as you have an internet connection, whether with wifi or mobile data. Since many people own a smartphone nowadays, this game is becoming increasingly popular, not just with boys but also with girls. The game can also be a good diversion while idling or waiting in line. Additionally, the game itself has excellent graphics and is highly defined.

The developers constantly upgrade and change their heroes, rules, and events. I look forward to their events because I can get some rewards like their new borders, specific emblems, battle points, magic dust, and hero skins. It keeps me excited, especially when I play with my newly found friends on the game.

What keeps me interested in it is I get to have new skins for my favorite heroes. Getting these new skins means I can get an upgraded look of my hero with a new outfit and a new style with additional hero points. My favorite is “Angela.”

Talking about the heroes, there are 6 roles of heroes in MOBILE LEGENDS: Tank, Fighter, Marksman, Assassin, Mage, and Support.

Tank heroes are the front liners in this game and protect the low-durable heroes like the Marksman, Mage, and Support.

FiFighter heroes are short-range heroes who can go alone when played well, but they are better paired with a marksman to hit more damage to the enemies and the towers..

Marksman heroes are long-range heroes who usually work well once supported by Tanks. They can go side by side with Fighter heroes since they can get easily defeated by enemies. They are the most damaged dealers in this game once appropriately used.

Assassin heroes are assigned to stop those heroes who roam around to recharge their health points. They are good at sneaking around to look for enemies. They need to kill buffs faster to level up and be stronger quickly.

Mage is also the less durable hero. They need not fight alone, mainly when more than three enemies attack this hero. They use magic for damage.

Support heroes are the ones who help the team during the team fight or clash.

MENTOR-APPRENTICE RELATIONSHIP

Since I am a newbie and a noob at the same time, I kept losing the game. Oh my! The good thing is that ML has this automated pop-up recommending I find a Mentor to play with and teach me the game’s mechanics. So this is how I met “Researcher,” my Mentor.

My mentor showed me how to use heroes per role, and he explained some of the items, the different ranks, and the various game modes of Mobile Legends.

For the benefit of those who don’t know it yet, there are seven ranks in this game: Warrior, Elite, Master, Grandmaster, Epic, Legend, and Mythic.

As a start, you will get the primary rank which is “Warrior”. It will upgrade to a much higher level as long as you keep winning the game. For every wins, there’s an equivalent star. As soon as you gain all the As a start, you will get the primary rank of “Warrior.” It will be much higher if you keep winning the game. However, for every wins, there’s an equivalent star. Your rank will gradually increase once you gain all the leads required to complete the level. On the contrary, once you lose a game, you will also lose a star.

During the Mentor Apprentice activity, we aimed for me to reach the Master Rank. My mentor would advise me on different tasks I needed to fulfill to achieve our common goal. The charges were fun because they didn’t just allow me to familiarize the other heroes but also complete all the challenging tasks at the same time.

There are six modes in this game: CLASSIC, RANK, BRAWL, VS A.I., CUSTOM, and ARCADE.

While trying to Rank Up, I met this fabulous and fun player, “genocider.” Man, she is really awesome and so comfortable to get along with. We had so many fun moments in the game. HAHA, I Miss you, girl! She is a powerful RUBY player. I am amazed at her gaming skills. She is good with techniques in ambushing the enemies, mainly when she uses Natalia (an assassin hero whose skill is to disappear when she is in the bush).

This one time, while she was hiding in the bush and planning to kill some buffs or monsters to level up, a hero from the opponent passed by in the bush got caught off-guard, and panicked. We were screaming with peals of laughter. Unfortunately, that enemy’s hero is always caught up by our tricks and always gets defeated. Then eventually, that hero doesn’t go near the bushes anymore. HAHA, I guess he had learned our tricks then.

Geno”Genocider” is a strong player because she can carry the whole team and win. Unless she didn’t have an unstable network or her phone was acting up.

I invited her to play the Rank mode with my Mentor. By the time I reached the Master’s level, we officially bid farewell to my Mentor. Our friendship still stays though πŸ™‚

I was partly sad because the experience with ML will never be the same again while being with my mentor. He was patient and always there to save me from the opponent. On the other hand, I get to meet new friends at least namely “Papiko” (my ultimate fan and idol, haha), “eklok,” “castro09”, “osrit#11” and “DiAkOsiDION

Overall, the game is pretty much exciting. But I would recommend this for people 18 years old and above. It can be very tricky for children to play, and there are various things that only adults can understand.

I guess that’s about it… ’til next time guys! πŸ™‚
